Planning Manager – QLD

This candidate started their career over 20 years ago in New Zealand. Beginning their career with an environmental policy planning position which fostered their passion for good planning outcomes. They worked they way up through the Planning hierarchy and had lead teams as well as fostering their technical abilities. Currently working in regional QLD as a Planning Manager, they are managing a reasonable portfolio and 30 staff. They are hoping to be in a more central location in their next opportunity and open to relocation within Australia.

Salary: $160k + super | Notice Period: 4 weeks (+ 2 weeks for interstate relocation)

 


Principal Strategic Planner – QLD

This planner has 12 years’ experience in their career so far. They began their planning in consultancy where they were naturally working through development applications for a range of land uses. Moving into a state government position, then to a local council role they had the opportunity to move into a more strategic based position; their love for strategic planning followed. They developed and implemented a range of planning reforms and managed the strategic planning team as their coordinator.

This candidate has most recently been working in the private sector however would like to move back into a local government organisation to continue their strategic work.

Salary: $120k + super | Notice period: 4 weeks

 


Part time Planner / Administration – QLD

A planner with 5 years of experience mainly in development assessment work. They are currently seeking a role that would give them flexibility as they juggle family life and study (currently studying Urban Design online). They have the capacity to pick up some work on 2-3 days basis and would love to gain some exposure in strategic planning. Currently based near Brisbane they would ideally like somewhere that’s within a commutable distance with some flexibility to work remotely when life gets in the way.

Salary: $74k + super | available immediately and open to contract work!

 


Principal Planner/Remote Report Writer – Townsville QLD

Originally from regional Victoria, they started working in Planning back in 1997 at a regional Victorian City Council as a Student Planner. They then moved to Melbourne and worked for a local council before moving up to Townsville where they worked for Townsville City Council up until 2011 as a Statutory Planner.

They left Council and started their own sole-trading business – and last year, through their own networks, they secured a remote working role for a Victorian Council as a Principal Planner.

Her contract has finished up and she is now looking for opportunities. Due to where they live, they would be open to remote working report writing role for 3 days/week.

 


Senior Planner from NZ in Cairns – QLD – (3 days/week)
