A contracted, council experienced employee is looking for a new long-term contract or permanent position. With a background in civil projects, traffic and transport, and project management, this individual can provide a variety of skills.  Within their current position, they are responsible for day-to-day engineering investigations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, project monitoring, quality assurance, asset management, and problem-solving in relation to infrastructure maintenance and drainage/road issues. Whilst they are working within the engineering space, they are carrying out capital works to the community working on construction of pits and pipes, open drains and soak pits project, and footpath renewal programs.

Traffic Engineer – $71 per hour, plus GST (ref. 30585)

A western suburbs candidate who is job ready and looking for a contracted position where they can utilise their technical skills within the traffic engineering space. This person’s latest role was working within a council setting as a Technical Officer where they were coordinating applications to ensure compliance, reviewing, and organising approval processes for road opening permits, streetlights, and fencing, and utilising GIS, Proclaim Citrix, and Objective Trapeze.

Prior to their council role, they were heavily involved within the civil space as an engineer working on motorway networks, dig points, budgets, and defect resolutions.

This individual has recently moved to Melbourne and is on the lookout for a contract position in local government circles.
