Senior Planner – Circular Economy and Renewable Energy

This busy consultancy has just won a large body of work that will require them to find an additional resource for 2-3 days a week.

This project involves the rollout of infrastructure facilities (its NOT Telco!) across most Victorian municipalities.  The infrastructure is relatively simple and relatively templated in terms of planning applications but some (ideally 2+ years) experience within the Victorian planning system is preferred.

The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously managing some of the client interactions and the majority of the council officer interactions to ensure the smooth rollout of the infrastructure.  As with most rollout projects there will be peaks and troughs in the workload so it is essential that the candidate is organised and able to juggle multiple projects at different stages effectively.

It is expected that the workload will average out at 2-3 days a week, running for around about 12 months.  The client can commit to a minimum of 3 days a week if required by supplementing the project with additional projects from the office (but the primary focus will remain the successful delivery of this project).  As the role will involve some site visits the company are looking for someone who can perform at least a proportion of the role during normal work hours.  The role would suit a working parent looking for consistent part-time work over the next 12 months.
